Please join our Mobility Hubs team this Thursday, Nov 12 at 6 PM ET, as we celebrate a huge collaborative effort to launch our first mobility hub in Everett where our volunteers and partner organizations helped #ReimagineBroadway.
Our special guest will be Jay Monty, transportation planner with the City of Everett! There will be a Q&A following his presentation.

Description We're bringing back our signature Beer & Transit series with a twist! It's our second annual Pride & Transit evening to celebrate Pride Month! Save the date for Fiscal Management and Control Board member, Executive Director of the Rt. 128 Business Council, and LGBTQ+ leader, Monica Tibbits-Nutt. Join LGBTQ+ and ally transit advocates to remember the important contributions that LGBTQ+ people have made to transportation and party (physical distancing style)!

Because everything is more fun with friends, this week's Trivia Thursday is a collaboration with TransitMatters! TransitMatters is a transit policy advocacy group based in Boston, MA. Incorporated as a non-profit in 2015, they advocate for fast, frequent, reliable, and equitable MBTA services in Metro Boston. Through discourse, they offer new perspectives, unite transit advocates, and inform the public on transit issues. They utilize a high level of critical analysis to advocate for plans and policies that promote convenient, effective, and equitable transportation for everyone. TransitMatters is back at it again. Julia Wallerce of the Institute for Transportation & Development Policy (ITDP). ITDP is the foremost organization working on bus rapid transit. Julia led the "Year of the Bus" in 2018-2019 which brought bus lane and bus priority pilots in Boston, Everett, Watertown, Arlington, and Cambridge. Julia will share with us how Boston can continue to make the bus experience in and around Boston better AND give us some international insight into how Asia's BRT networks are weathering COVID-19.
